Sahithi is a trained classical Indian dancer, and a social activist. Actively volunteering in various associations related to environmental issues or culture, she is currently pursuing commerce and global studies in Richmond, Virginia.
Currently based in Richmond, VA, Sahithi is pursuing commerce and global studies. Apart from her education, she is a trained classical Indian dancer who practices and performs Kuchipudi. In addition, she teaches and manages social outreach at the Sree Nrithya Siddhi School of Kuchipudi Dance in Richmond. She holds a position as a marketing intern for IndianRaga, an organization which promotes classical Indian art forms. Previously, Sahithi has also served as her county’s Heroin Prevention Task Force Representative and helped initiate awareness campaigns in her community.
For many years, Sahithi has had asthma which is triggered by pollution. Whenever she visits India, this problem arises. Her desire to help resolve the problem of pollution has sparked her interest to play a role in social activism. After reading about LearnBlue’s mission to address global issues with the help of Gen-Z, Sahithi joined the team. Through LearnBlue, she wishes to promote solutions to issues related to the environment, education, and equality. By utilizing her background in marketing and global studies, Sahithi wants to spread LearnBlue’s message by expanding the team and creating partnerships with other organizations that have similar missions.
