Isaac Somto is an 18-year old African serial entrepreneur, writer, and content creator. He is the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Vocal Africa. Formerly known as African Writers HQ, Vocal Africa has reached out to more than 30k+ people since its launch in 2019.
He is also the Founder of Imaginact, a nonprofit organization driving positive change and impact. Imaginact, earlier called “The Isaac Somto Foundation”, published more than 50 African writers for free and even partnered with digital publishing giant, Publiseer, to promote more African writers and voices. In 2019, he was featured in Blankpaperz and was awarded by Jamie Pajoel International for his contribution towards enterprise development in Nigeria.
Isaac is the Co-founder of Peagital, a digital agency helping small businesses scale online. He has spoken at various youth summits organized by numerous organizations. His words have also been quoted in The Conversation, Modern Ghana, Justice Info, Daily Leaks, Lists.ng among others.
As an entrepreneur, he founded WowFactor360 at the age of 15 and later sold it off and then went on to start Techcrest, a platform focused on technology in Africa. His content reached over 50k+ people before he sold off the platform in 2019. At present, he is the Specialist of Branding and Visual Identity, at the Talem Business School.
